Favorite place for yakitori. Sushi is also great. Love the ambiance. Make a reservation!

Our fav japanese omakase to go when in Vegas. Located in chinatown, spring mountain rd. Made a reservation just to be safe, because the place is quiet small and limited. Parking: Share free parking with other restaurants in the complex. You can either Ala carte or omakase. Most restaurants want you to order the same (omakase) for the whole group in the table, but Raku doesnt. That's what I like about this place. We ordered: Omakase Premium $150 Omakase Deluxe $180 See photo for details. Always happy to be here!!

It's been several years since my last visit but had another amazing meal while in Vegas recently. Our server (male) was attentive and helpful. We enjoyed the tuna sashimi along with other tasty morsels, the foie gras skewer and wagyu hot stone were a couple favorites. Next time we might want a few carbs to round out all the protein we consumed! Cozy space and all the Uber and taxis seem to know it's the place to be!

Anyone who does not give this place a 5 is broken. Me and my boys just had an out of body experience. Thank you so much for making this dinner the highlight of our vegas trip

What can I say? Kobe Beef, Foie Gras, and Agedashi. With Queen A, Raku was a must in Vegas. Definitely high end, definitely well known. Book reservations on Resy if you are arriving after 6:00 PM. The place is packed. 1. Kobe Beef Outside Skirt - Tender & Moist 5/5 2. Foie Gras Don - Laid on a Heavenly Bed of Lettuce 5/5 3. Oyako Don - Runny Eggs and Chicken 4/5 4. Agedashi Tofu - Clean and Controlled 3/5 The sauces are a nice complement to the flavors. Guess what, we were still hungry so off to our next AYCE adventure.

Raku in Las Vegas is an absolute standout, especially for a foie gras aficionado like me. You can think many unfavorable things about me, but I love it. I've sampled foie gras at some of Vegas' top spots--Scarpetta, Marche Bacchus, Lakeside--but Raku takes the trophy. Here, they masterfully utilize the texture of the foie gras, creating a perfect crust on the outside paired with a very balanced sauce. Raku never fails. Another highlight is the agedashi tofu, which is silky and flavorful, and the wagyu skewers, which are a melt-in-your-mouth delight. This place is a culinary gem that consistently delivers excellence.

Stepping into the place, you're hit with this vibe that's pretty chill, kinda makes you wanna stay longer than you planned. The service though, that's another story. It felt like ages before we got our food, but let me tell you, once that food hit the table, everything else kinda faded into the background. First up, the Agadashi didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was alright, nothing to write home about. But then, the skewers came out, and it was like a whole new game. Each one was better than the last, cooked to perfection, flavors on point. The tare they use is world class. Now, let's talk about the real MVPs of the night. The Foie Gras bowl, the Ikura bowl, and oh man, the Pork Ear - absolute game changers. The Foie Gras was rich, decadent, everything you want it to be. The Ikura bowl had this burst of flavor with every bite, fresh and just downright delicious. But the Pork Ear, that was something else. Never thought I'd be raving about Pork Ear, but here we are, probably one of the best things I've ever tasted. So yeah, slow service aside, the food's what you're here for, and it does not disappoint. Hands down, some of the best dishes I've had in a while.

Raku is about 15-20min from The Venetian where we were staying. We came looking for authentic Japenese food. When you enter, Raku has an intimate charm. And as you walk through the restaurant, you notice all the little touches that really make the space warm and interesting. We were seated in a table in the back -- it's a charming, wood and greens space. Foodwise, we loved the Chef's tasting menu -- it was a great combination of different textures, fresh ingredients and different cooking techniques The tofu was a great intro to the soy sauce and matcha salt The crispy asparagus was so crunchy. The truffle marinated blue fin tuna was very delicious. The iberico pork was juicy, crispy, fragrant The crab was incredibly juicy with an indelible char The fried fish (cod) had that juicy flesh and delicate crisp The waguriya beef -- we preferred cooking it a bit on the hot rock. As served was a little too fatty for us. Once we cooked it more and added the matcha salt, it was tasty. The ikura rice was so delicious, esp with the soy sauce They have really unique seasoning at the table -- the chili powder, matcha salt and soy sauce are all spectacular. We separately ordered The fried chicken and shrimp which were also spectacular. The chicken was so juicy and crispy -- the juiciest fried chicken I've had! The shrimp has a very satisfying crisp + saltiness. The ambience is cute. Relaxed. Service was friendly and they were very kind to my 5yr old, bringing her Disney princess water cup.

Ambiance: 4/5 stars. Dark, cozy, intimate izakaya vibes... but with relatively easy parking. I say relatively because the parking lot can often times get super full due to multiple popular restaurants sharing the same parking lot. Service: 5/5 stars. Our waitress was busy, but she was very attentive and sweet - I suppose that's typical of Japanese people that grew up in Japan, but I just thought I'd mention it. She was really nice! Food: I'll give it 5/5 for flavor, taste and presentation. However, here's a warning to non-Japanese folks who aren't used to Japanese izakayas - you might be surprised at how small the servings are. Izakaya food is pretty much like the Japanese equivalent of Spanish Tapas, so if you have a big appetite like I do, you might end up ordering a bunch of dishes and you may find the final bill a bit expensive. (This isn't a cheap teriyaki place. Be prepared to spend some money here, but you will like the authenticity and flavor of the food and experience!)

Raku has been on my list for years and my friends also wanted to check this place out on my last trip to Vegas. We had reservations and were escorted to the back of the restaurant, which was very tranquil. We did the omakase, which as $150 per person for the deluxe tasting course, but also added grilled rice balls, a side of ume, wagyu kushi, and kamo/duck with balsamic soy. For drinks, we got a bottle of Koshinio Kanbai and Asahi on draft. The courses were nicely spaced out- we spent about an hour and a half there. We needed to catch a show afterwards, so it was perfect timing. There were no descriptions of what the items were going to be, but I enjoyed everything that was given. The highlight of the meal was cooking A5 wagyu on the flaming rocks. Service was quick and efficient! Definitely worth the splurge if you're wanting something a bit more high-end in this part of town.
